Actually, ColoradoRob, if you were truly interested, you could have done a search and found numbers of scholarly journals citing statistics for the increased use of anti-depressant and an increase in suicide due to economic crises, not only in the US, but in Argentina, Germany, Canada, and the list goes on. It is a proven fact that with hardship, depression and suicide statistics increase, and with the current economics in multiple countries, this is the unfortunate case.
