I’m a Seattle resident, and I have been a die-hard Ute since the eighth grade. I was a student there in the years of “34-31, 34-31.” The score of Saturday’s game couldn’t have made me happier, but there was a situation that disturbed me. I have some friends who flew to Salt Lake City for the game, and let’s just say they were wearing blue in the stadium. Here is a small taste of their experience: U fans pouring beer on them. Someone dressed as Jesus shouting, “F*** you, BYU.” One of them had an apple thrown at his head.
We could have claimed the right of teaching our competitors from the south a lesson—that even though we wanted to mash their faces into our AstroTurf, they are still guests in our house. The way some of our fans behaved turned a sweet victory into something worse than a loss.

Has anyone ever been to a game at Cal, talk about a "terrible host," Utah doesn't even come close to rude when compared with bears fans.

Get over it. I've been to the LaVell Edwards Stadium and my friend was spit on. This is a rivalry. It's a heated rivalry at that. I know if I go down there wearing Utah gear, people aren't going to be nice to me and I could care less. I think fan behavior can be out of control at home games, but I've seen it down south as well. This is rivalry football at its best. If you want a g-rated game, stay at home and eat bean dip with your buddies.

well they don't have real football in seattle? Well bad behavior have you been to raiders game? Seriously what you describe is nothing compare to gang fights in oakland, and riots in england and france. Dude first of all shouldn't blue in a school of read and you should have schooled them about and I like to duh!!! What do you would happen? I don't know where there is civility in football is, but things you decribe will happen, so stop complaining.
